In a defensive struggle this weekend, the Denver Broncos clinched a close victory over the winless New York Jets. Signal-caller Bo Nix connected on a first-quarter touchdown pass and specialist Wil Lutz provided the game-winning go-ahead field goal to seal the ugly win.

Defensive Performance Wins Game

Despite registering nine sacks against Jets QB Justin Fields, the Broncos found themselves trailing 11-10 after giving up a two-point play in the second half. Interestingly, the Jets managed just 82 total net yards throughout the contest.

The Denver quarterback, who completed 19 of 30 passes for 174 yards, engineered a decisive 12-play, 65-yard drive that culminated in Lutz's 27-yard field goal with approximately five minutes remaining.
